Situated in the well sought after Mjejane Game Reserve, Ukuthula House is surrounded by a 4000ha reserve with over 10km of riverfront to enjoy. Approximately 4 1/2 hours drive from Gauteng and a mere 45 minutes from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, the reserve is a stone's throw from six well-known golf courses, including Leopard Creek.

Stepping into Ukuthula House transports you into a very special piece of Africa, where no detail has been overlooked. Driving into the entrance area you will be greeted by our wonderful staff who will become like family. Walk through the reception library into a Moroccan-inspired courtyard that will take your breath away. Through the kitchen and lounge ahead you will see the breath-taking river view, the Kruger at your very doorstep.
Experience our luxury suites, take a dip in to pool while watching the elephants play, spot a leopard from the deck over a pizza and gin and tonic, or listen to the sound of the hyenas call over a fire in the boma.
Every special place has an equally special story and Ukuthula House’s story could only be described as a wonderful adventure. The property was created by the Lederle Collection, a family business and property portfolio owned by the very talented Sue Lederle. Sue has had an extraordinary career in travel and interior design and has created many exquisite properties for clients to experience and enjoy from France to Italy, Mauritius, Kruger, and Cape Town.
Ukuthula House has been a dream in the making for several years and after much planning, sourcing, and hard work Sue and her team at Lederle Design have created something exquisite and unique which many will enjoy for years to come.
